Unlike traditional therapy programs, we seamlessly integrate sports with behavioural and emotional coaching — harnessing the natural power of physical activity to create lasting change.

Please note: We are not psychologists, medical doctors, or licensed therapists. Our programs are designed to complement and work alongside professional medical or psychological guidance — not replace it. We encourage all participants to continue working with their healthcare providers. Think of us as a powerful and supportive add-on to your existing care. With the permission of our clients, we are also happy to communicate and collaborate directly with their healthcare providers — whether that's a medical doctor, psychologist, therapist, or specialist — to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to their personal journey.
What we are is a team of dedicated, experienced coaches and behavioural specialists who are passionate about using sport and active movement as a vehicle for real, lasting change. We bring a unique combination of behavioural intervention, physical education, human resources, and coaching expertise — and a genuine commitment to the well-being of every person we work with.

Empower Through Sports was founded by Howard and Stacey Shulak — a father and daughter united by a shared belief that sport and movement can transform lives. Together they bring a complementary set of expertise: Howard rooted in behavioural intervention and physical education, Stacey in human development and coaching.
